TRT and peptide protocols run simultaneously in a large portion of Protocol users. Each compound needs separate logging. Here's how they interact and what a combined protocol tracker handles.

Why These Protocols Are Often Combined

TRT addresses testosterone deficiency and its effects: low energy, poor body composition, reduced libido, cognitive fog. Research peptides address different targets: BPC-157 and TB-500 for recovery and injury repair, CJC-1295/Ipamorelin for growth hormone secretion and sleep quality, PT-141 for libido, BPC-157 for gut health. These goals don't conflict — they address different physiological systems. The protocols are often run simultaneously, with TRT as the foundational layer and peptides cycled on top.

The practical tracking challenge: each compound has different dosing frequencies, different injection sites (testosterone is typically intramuscular; peptides are typically subcutaneous), different storage requirements (reconstituted peptides refrigerated; testosterone at room temperature), and different bloodwork implications. A single tracking app that handles both eliminates the spreadsheet or dual-app system most users otherwise resort to.

Does running peptides affect TRT bloodwork?
Most research peptides don't directly affect the testosterone panel. GH secretagogues (CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, MK-677) may elevate IGF-1 but don't typically affect Total T, Free T, Estradiol, or Hematocrit. BPC-157 and TB-500 don't affect the TRT panel. HCG (when added as a TRT adjunct) does affect the protocol — it stimulates aromatase and can raise Estradiol. If you add any compound that affects hormone levels, note it in your protocol log alongside your bloodwork results.
Can I use Protocol to track both TRT and peptides?
